Our Ministries

CITI Ministries is about serving the people of God. We are responding to the need for non-judgmental ministry and a welcoming environment for people facing challenges within the church. Our priests will listen and provide guidance as they make every effort to assist you with your sacramental needs.

You may call on a CITI priest to perform a baptism or first communion, witness a wedding or second marriage, anoint the sick, preside at a funeral and celebrate reconciliation. Some priests will preside at home masses in cases of parish closings or for those who wish to establish small faith communities.

Wedding Ministry

CITI Ministries can help you find a Priest for your special day.

· If you would like a legal civil marriage with the blessing of a priest in a ceremony which reflects and appreciates the Roman Catholic Tradition, then CITI Ministries is a wonderful option for you.
· If you would like an interfaith service which cannot be accommodated by your parish priest, CITI Ministries can help.
· If you would like to have your wedding outside or at a venue other than a church building but would still love to have a priest as an officiant, our CITI Ministries priests are happy to accommodate your plans.
· If this is a second marriage for either the bride or groom and you would like to incorporate your Catholic faith tradition into your ceremony, CITI Ministries can help.

Baptism Ministry

Are you requesting Baptism or First Holy Communion for your child?

·If you would like Baptism or First Holy Communion for your child with the blessing of a priest in a ceremony which reflects and appreciates the Roman Catholic Tradition.
·If you are concerned about how your marital status may affect your child’s ability to receive the sacraments, please understand that this is not a problem. CITI priests look forward to working with you. The gift of God’s grace is open to all who seek Him. Your child will not be denied!
·If you would like to baptize your child, or celebrate the Liturgy of First Holy Communion at a reception hall, home, or other appropriate setting, inside or outside then CITI Ministries can help. Please click Find A Priest for a priest in your Area.

If you want or need your child’s sacraments to be recognized by the Roman Catholic Church, then you will need to work with your parish priest.

Anointing and Funeral Ministry

Are you requesting the Sacrament of the Sick or do you need a Funeral or Memorial Service for a loved one?

Our priests will minister with care and compassion as they comfort the sick. They will gently guide your family through the process of creating a meaningful funeral ceremony that will best reflect and respect the memory of your loved one.

-If you would like the Sacrament of Anointing for a friend or family member in the Roman Catholic Tradition
-If you have been away from the church or are not currently registered in a parish and cannot find a priest to provide funeral services for your loved one.
